“Another great offering from Ms. Hachtel! I am a fan of well researched historical fiction and this author does a very good job of creating the mood and details of the time period. The storyline grabbed me from the beginning. It was suspenseful and romantic at the same time. There is nothing like a strong, proud female during a time when many would consider it a character flaw. Emma fills that position very well and I enjoyed reading of her actions. I will continue to follow the writings of Ms. Hachtel.”
